Abstract <p>We presented an innovative approach to detecting patients with systemic lupus erythematosus based on the combination of surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy and multivariate analysis. A binary classifier was developed using the projection on the latent structure, allowing for the accurate identification of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus with an accuracy exceeding 95% based on spectral profiles of blood serum.</p>
