Kinetics of Heterogeneous Boiling-Up of Moderately Superheated n-Pentane in a Glass Tube at Pressures above Atmospheric

Abstract
The kinetics of spontaneous boiling-up of superheated n-pentane in a glass tube is investigated. It has been shown that the values of the dependence of the mean lifetime of the superheated liquid on the depth of entry into the metastable region lie near one curve. The formation of vortex structures in the initial stage of boiling-up of superheated n-pentane thermostated in the middle of the tube is revealed.
