Abstract <p>Two-layer films in the Fe–Bi system were experimentally studied, which differed in the order of deposition of the magnetic and nonmagnetic layers. Electron magnetic resonance showed that additional magnetic anisotropy of the easy-plane type arises in Fe–Bi films. The observed changes are explained by the formation of a granular iron layer with strong magnetic anisotropy at the interface with bismuth.</p>
