Soft X-Ray Spectroscopy at the Kosmos Synchrotron Radiation Station
摘要
Abstract
The Kosmos synchrotron radiation metrology station operates in the range of soft X-rays. Along with metrological studies, it allows EXAFS and XANES spectra to be measured in the 2–10 keV range of energies. A new monochromator based on a hybrid optical scheme of the multilayer mirror–crystal type with potassium and rubidium biphthalate crystals is tested to extend the range to lower energies. A new monochromator with operating energies of up to 480 eV is used to measure the XANES spectra of test samples near the K-edge of Al (1559 eV) and the L-edge of copper (932.7 eV). The designs of both monochromators and examples of the spectra are presented.
