Abstract <p>The authors study three-particle correlations of charged particles in the <sup>124</sup>Xe–W reaction at an energy of 3 GeV/nucleon at the Nuclotron Internal Target Station. Experimental results are compared to model calculations made using the PHQMD event generator and the Geant4 software package.</p>
