Study of Magnetic Hydrodynamics and Liquid Metal Heat Transfer inside a Pipe-in-Channel Heat Exchange System Applied to a Fusion Reactor Blanket Module
摘要
Abstract
A set of computational and experimental studies are performed for flows of liquid metal in a combined pipe-in-channel system with and without double cooling in a transverse magnetic field. Results from numerical modeling are compared to experimental findings. The configuration of the flow and its structure depend strongly on both the presence of a transverse magnetic field and the connection of a natural circulation loop and its cooling.
