Photoinduced Electron Transfer in Deferiprone Chelate Complexes with Nontransition Metal Ions
摘要
Abstract
Chemically induced dynamic nuclear polarization and laser flash photolysis are used to study the formation and photodegradation of deferiprone chelate complexes with calcium and zinc ions. Deferiprone in the complexes degrades rapidly under the action of ultraviolet radiation. Radical intermediates of deferiprone are registered, and the quantum yield of its photodegradation in a complex with zinc grows by 6.4 times.
