摘要

Abstract

During the phytopathological surveys, infected plants of Pisum sativum were collected from Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan during 20232024 and Robinia pseudoacacia infected leaves were collected from Sakkar gah, Battagram in October, 2021. Fungal pathogens on these host plants were described using morphological and molecular tools. The causal fungal pathogens were identified as Erysiphe pisi and Uromyces viciae-fabae respectively. The present research work explores new records of these fungi from Pakistan on molecular basis as the sequences of these pathogens are generated for the first time from Pakistan. Aecidial stage of U. viciae-fabae is a new record for Pakistan while Robinia pseudoacacia is being reported here as new host record for Erysiphe pisi.
