Abstract <p>To the best of our knowledge, there are many reports on helminths found in <i>Lacerta agilis</i> from different regions. However, there is no report on the helminth fauna of <i>L. agilis</i> distributed in Türkiye. Hence, we investigated the diversity of parasitic helminths and their prevalence in Sand Lizards <i>L. agilis</i> (Linnaeus, 1758) (Sauria: Lacertidae) in Ardahan, Türkiye. Two helminth species (Nematoda) were found in the <i>L. agilis</i>: <i>Oswaldocruzia filiformis</i> (Goeze, 1782) and <i>Spauligodon cabrerae</i> Castaño-Fernández, Zapatero-Ramos &amp; Solera Puertas 1988. Overall helminth prevalences were not relatively high for host species (13/49 (27%)). <i>Lacerta agilis</i> is a new host record for <i>S. cabrerae</i> and Ardahan Province is a new locality record for both helminth species.</p>
