摘要

Abstract

During current studies on powdery mildews in Pakistan, three infected host plants Platanus orientalis, Populus macrocarpa and Salix tetrasperma were collected from the Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan regions. The epidemiological and molecular phylogenetic analyses were done on the basis of rDNA ITS sequence data. After morphological and genetic analyses, the causal agents were identified as Erysiphe platani and E. adunca. Erysiphe platani is a new record for Pakistan. Populus macrocarpa and Salix tetrasperma are new host records for E. adunca.
