Abstract <p><i>Acrocordia conoidea</i> (Fr.) Kӧrb., and <i>Porina coarctata</i> P.M. McCarthy &amp; H. Harada are reported as new records from Indian biota. <i>A. conoidea</i> is characterized by wide-spreading involucrellum, cylindrical asci and spores with pointed and rounded ends whereas <i>P. coarctata</i> is characterized by very thin and inconspicuous thallus, small 3-septate ascospores, small blackish perithecia that are commonly aggregated in clusters. The present study provides a detailed description, distribution, and illustration of both species.</p>
