Abstract
This is the final collection of papers selected from the main events in the field of computer science research and technology development in Armenia in 2025. The biennial “Computer Sciences and Information Technologies” conference in Yerevan is the main scientific event in areas of theoretical and applied Computer Sciences held in Armenia since 1997. In September of 2025 it was the 15th issue in this series. This event is of regional interest, providing a networking ecosystem to scientists in areas such as mathematical logic and logical reasoning, discrete mathematics, pattern recognition and cognitive sciences, and in diverse digital applications. Besides the main conference at 22–26 September 2025, four satellite Workshops were extensions of the base conference in directions: Workshop 1 “Data Analytics and Mathematical Modelling” (June 26–28, 2024), Workshop 2 “High Performance Artificial Intelligence” (September 4, 5, 2024), Workshop 3 “Large Digital Models and Specific Pattern Analyses” (May 30–31, 2025), WS4 “High Performance Computer Science” (September 22–24, 2025), WS5 “Advanced Digital Technologies and Generative Artificial Intelligence in Education and Management” (September 24–26, 2025). Workshop 4 is a continuation of Workshop 2, with more attention to the theoretical issues of artificial intelligence. The total number of accepted papers, presentations, and posters at CSIT’2025 was almost 200. Selected papers and the introductory text of this conference, including materials of the Workshop 3, presented as a Special Issue of the Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis journal in 2025. The second part, including basically materials of Workshops 3 and 4 is planned to publish during the year 2026. Selected articles of this issue present innovative achievements in general pattern recognition areas such as: “Logic Combinatorial Pattern Recognition” in general, and issues of algebra and mathematical logic, combinatorial and graph theoretical paradigms, semantic pattern recognition, cognitive sciences, application platforms where different artificial intelligence technologies are converging together. Here are image and data acquisition topics, and data analytics under different conditions and constraints, including unmanned aerial vehicle, radar applications, and making use of current deep learning technological achievements.
