Abstract <p>This work presents the results of seven offshore geotechnical boreholes drilled in 2023 on the Laptev Sea shelf. The Arctic Research Center of Rosneft conducted investigations as part of an innovative development program to study subsea permafrost in areas with promising geological structures. Based on these new data, in combination with previously obtained results, the widespread occurrence of frozen sediments on the Laptev Sea shelf has been reliably established for the first time. The study reveals distinctive features of their cryogenic structure and identifies high gas saturation in the upper part of the geological section.</p>
