Abstract <p>This paper is aimed at constructing an industrial symbiosis model based on the concept of sustainable regional development. The objectives of the study are to elucidate the economic and mathematical essence of industrial symbiosis as a mechanism for addressing regional sustainability challenges. By analyzing key characteristics that bolster production cooperation and supply chain resilience of business entities, the authors identify essential technologies for a symbiotic ecosystem. A conceptual model is proposed, demonstrating that integrating production and business entities into an industrial symbiosis business model is vital for sustainable regional growth. Practical implications are directed toward corporate leadership seeking to implement circular business models to enhance resource conservation, environmental protection, and social responsibility.</p>
