Abstract <p>This article examines project management methodologies developed by the Center for Excellence in Project Management (CEPM). These methodologies are based on assessing an organization’s maturity level across three key dimensions: project management, human capital management, and risk management. The aim of this study is to analyze the applicability of CEPM maturity models – CEPM-OPMMA, CEPM-OHCMMA, and CEPM-ORMMA – to the specific domains of IT projects and scientific research projects, which are characterized by high dynamism and unique challenges. The paper discusses the specifics of implementing these models and identifies their limitations, as well as their strengths and weaknesses.</p>
