A Fast Method for Determining the Forces and Moments Acting on Aircraft in a Vortex Wake
摘要
Abstract
A method based on artificial neural networks is proposed for real-time determination of additional forces and moments acting on aircraft moving in the vortex wake of another aircraft. The method is based on neural network approximation of additional forces and moments caused by the influence of individual vortex segments. A dataset for training neural networks is generated by a software program designed to compute transonic flow around an aircraft configuration, namely, by solving equations for the complete potential in the outer flow and equations for a three-dimensional boundary layer on the aircraft surface. The accuracy and speed of the proposed method are estimated.
