Additional Absorbed Dose from Solar Proton Events on the ISS
摘要
Abstract
The contribution of protons from solar proton events (SPEs) to the absorbed dose over the entire period of crewed operations of the ISS was analyzed. It was shown that, with decreasing solar activity, the number of SPEs, the intensity of proton radiation, and, consequently, their contribution to the absorbed dose also decreased. It is expected that in the next solar cycle, which is predicted to be weaker than the current 25th cycle and will coincide with the deployment and operational period of the Russian Orbital Station, the additional contribution of SPEs will be insignificant.
