Abstract <p>This paper describes the integration of the C Language Integrated Production System (CLIPS) environment into POSIX compliant real-time operating systems (RTOSs). The architectural features of CLIPS, including mechanisms for processing facts and rules, as well as methods for optimizing the system to operate under tight time constraints, are considered. Requirements for embedded systems, POSIX features, and data synchronization strategies are analyzed. The paper is intended for embedded system developers, automation engineers, and artificial intelligence researchers.</p>
