Testing the Adsorption Properties of NiMo/Al2O3 Protective Layer Catalyst in the Process of Hydrotreating of Diesel Fuel with Increased Silicon Content
摘要
Experiments are conducted lasting 60 and 200 h with various contact times of 0.33, 0.66, and 1.33 h (specific space velocity 3.0, 1.5, and 0.75 h–1, pressure 4.0 MPa) in the process of hydrotreating of diesel fuel with high silicon content. Experiments with a running time of 200 h showed that the silicon concentration in the frontal layer of the NiMo/Al2O3 catalyst does not change with increasing contact time, indicating that the maximum capacity value of ~5 wt % is reached. The absence of the influence of external mass transfer on silicon absorption and sulfur conversion is experimentally studied and theoretically substantiated during catalyst testing on a laboratory setup. The values of the linear feed rates of raw materials in which there is no influence of external mass transfer on either the silicon adsorption process or the sulfur conversion are determined.
