Stochastic Analysis of Bulk Charge Component Mixing in a Drum-and-Blades Unit

Abstract—
The paper presents the analysis of the results obtained employing a stochastic model for mixing of bulk charge components within the drum-and-blades unit of a continuous-action machine. The obtained distributions of granular particles of the specified components by ejection angle from the drum-and-blades unit correspond to the effective mixing criterion. These distributions take into account the motion pattern of flexible blade operating in a continuous mode under given sets of mixing process design and operating parameters.
