Study of the Characteristics of Maraging Steel under Tribotechnical Loading
摘要
Abstract
Metallographic and durometric studies and wear tests of 21NKMT maraging steel are carried out under dry sliding friction conditions after various types of heat treatment. It is established that the samples subjected to quenching and single aging have the lowest wear rate, while the samples subjected to double aging have the highest hardness of 630 HV. The double aging and overaging of 21NKMT steel lead to a 12–33% increase in wear rate.
