Abstract

Mathematical modeling of ion-exchange processes in columns for solving inverse problems of sorption dynamics can be an important tool for environmental monitoring, including control of hidden salvo discharges from industrial enterprises. The paper considers the problem of reconstructing the time dependence of the concentration of one or more polluting components in a solution that entered a chromatographic column, based on the analysis of the distribution of concentration profiles in the ion-exchange layer.
