Abstract

The influence of ecological aspects and biogeochemical factors on the operating conditions of important technosphere objects in the Kerch Strait area is considered in this paper. The main ions that contained in the water composition in the strait are chlorides, and, on average, their concentration is 54%. These factors contribute to the destruction of concretes, which are one of the materials that make up the most important technosphere objects located in the area under study. The results of experiments conducted on concrete samples in the case of the simultaneous effect of freeze–thaw cycles and chloride media within the limits of concentrations from 0.9 to 12 wt % are presented in this paper. This corresponds to the real ecological and hydrochemical aspects revealed in the Kerch Strait area and having a decisive impact on the most important economic objects.
