摘要

Abstract

The effect of catalyst systems containing TiO2 on the phenol oxidation kinetics in plasma chemical processes is studied. It is shown that the combined plasma–catalytic phenol oxidation is more efficient than the oxidation process in a dielectric barrier discharge. The effect of the time of catalyst deposition on a support on the process is assessed. Changes in the degree of mineralization of phenol solutions at different treatment parameters are analyzed. It is concluded that the higher degradation efficiency of phenol in the combined plasma–catalytic process is associated with the appearance of extra channels for the formation of active species.
