Adhesion in Two-Phase Melts of Alkali Metal Halides
摘要
Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of adhesive interaction of phases in two-phase melts LiF + KBr, LiF + CsCl, LiF + RbBr, LiF + KI, LiF + CsBr, LiF + RbI, LiF + CsI. It was established that the adhesion of phases increases with increasing temperature as a result of the superposition of the thermal motion of ions and changes in the compositions of the coexisting phases. The adhesion of phases decreases when the concentration range of immiscibility of components becomes wider. At the same temperature, phase adhesion increases with decreasing difference in the sizes of the mixed ions.
