Abstract <p>During the thermal destruction of the solid nanocluster polyoxometalate (POM) Mo<sub>132</sub> of the keplerate type, electric charges appeared in the samples due to the release of amphiphilic ionized molecular species into the environment. The sample–ground potential difference reached 100 V or more; the charge sign was determined by the presence or absence of a moderate electromagnetic field effect. In the study of the photodestruction of POM Mo<sub>132</sub> in aqueous solutions, a photogalvanic potential difference between the electrodes placed above and below in solution was observed. Fluctuations of the potential difference were also detected due to polarization/depolarization in the near-electrode zones, caused by different rates of diffusion of counterions from the upper and lower parts of solution.</p>
