Abstract

The heterophase reaction of silver perfluorocyclohexanoate with zinc has been studied by TG, DSC, and mass spectrometry methods, which demonstrate that in the temperature range 320–520 K the reaction gives solid zinc perfluorocyclohexanoate and is accompanied by the intramolecular reaction of formation of zinc fluoride. From the experimental data obtained, standard enthalpy of formation of the solid zinc complex, \({{\Delta }_{f}}H_{{298.15}}^{^\circ }\) = –5693 ± 29 kJ/mol, and enthalpies of sublimation of formation of dimeric molecules Zn2(C6F11COO)4, \({{\Delta }_{s}}H_{T}^{^\circ }\) = 190 ± 15 kJ/mol and \({{\Delta }_{f}}H_{T}^{^\circ }\) = –11196 ± 40 kJ/mol, have been calculated.
