First Data on Antimicrobial Activity of Emericellopsis fimetaria Isolated from Bottom Sediments of Saline Lake Bol’shoi Tambukan (Northern Caucasus, Russia)
摘要
Abstract
For the first time, data on antimicrobial activity of Emericellopsis fimetaria strains isolated from the bottom sediments of Lake Bol’shoi Tambukan (Northern Caucasus, Russia) are reported. All strains exhibited activity against Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Aspergillus niger, and Candida albicans. The dependence of the antimicrobial activity of the strain E. fimetaria p24 on the carbon source was studied. The genome of E. fimetaria was analyzed using the FungiSMASH algorithm, and biosynthetic gene clusters involved in production of antimicrobial compounds were identified.
