Study on the Blunt Trauma Effects of Type 53 7.62 mm Armor-Piercing Incendiary Bullet on Protected Targets
摘要
To study the blunt trauma effects of 7.62 mm rifle bullets on protected targets, this study conducts experiments on the penetration of Type 53 7.62 mm armor-piercing incendiary bullets into NIJ IV ballistic plates, protected SEBS gel targets, and dummy targets with sensors, fits the material parameters of human muscles, and establishes three sets of finite element models. The research results show that when the bullet penetrates the NIJ IV ballistic plates at an impact velocity of 885.1 m/s, the back face deformation are 36.73, 36.81, and 38.23 mm, respectively; when it penetrates the protected gel targets at a velocity of 887.0 m/s, the maximum indentation depths caused by blunt trauma are 60.61 and 61.57 mm, respectively. Based on the analysis of damage characteristics using the simulation model, it is concluded that the maximum blunt trauma indentation of the human body is 29.03 mm. The stress values of the heart and right lung both exhibit a double-peak characteristic, which is consistent with the trend of the experimental curves of the dummy. Among them, the double peaks of the sternum acceleration are 7782.19 and 4413.39 g; the double peaks of the heart stress are 428.81 and 229.67 kPa; and the double peaks of the right lung stress are 41.05 and 27.21 kPa. Based on the evaluation of stress thresholds and volume proportions, it is concluded that the double peaks of the lung injury volume proportion are 4.15 and 4.79%, with a total proportion of 9.59%; the double peaks of the heart injury volume proportion are 1.38 and 1.03%, with a total proportion of 7.64%. According to the PLC grading standard for pulmonary contusion percentage, the lungs are judged to have mild injuries; with reference to the threshold standard of 300 kPa for the maximum principal stress of the heart, there is a possibility of myocardial injury.
