Abstract <p>The problem of elastic-plastic torsion of rolled section rods reinforced with elastic fibers is considered. The conservation law method was used to solve the problem. Based on the analytical solution, computer programs were developed to find the rod’s elastic-plastic boundary. The program’s results are presented for various values of the torsional parameter for T-beam, H-beam, channel, cross, and Z-shaped rods. The calculations were performed on a personal computer; the time required to construct the elastic-plastic boundaries presented in the article ranges from 35 to 90 min, depending on the rod type.</p>
