Study of the Problem of Diffuse Fracture in Pure Bending of a Beam Made of Material with Different Elastic Properties in Tension and Compression
摘要
Abstract
The article deals with the problem of diffuse fracture in pure bending of a rectilinear beam made of material with different elastic properties in tension and compression. Nonlinear differential equations expressing the extension of the fracture front arising in the bending of the beam under the action of a constant bending moment are established. Formulas determining the incubation period for the development of the fracture process are obtained and the issue is solved. Using the obtained results, the influence of the multi-modulus properties of the material of a pure bending beam under the action of transverse loads on its long-term strength is graphically constructed and analyzed.
