Abstract <p>Two new solvatomorphs of the tetranuclear Fe(III) cluster based on sulfonylcalix[4]arene are synthesized and their structures are determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The spin properties of the obtained complexes are studied for the first time by <sup>57</sup>Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy.</p>
