Robustness of Nematic Superconductivity in SrxBi2Se3 to Magnetic Doping

This work studies iron doping in the classical nematic superconductor SrxBi2Se3. Superconductivity is shown to be suppressed for an atomic fraction of Fe about 0.2%. At lower iron concentrations, the superconducting critical temperature and nematic superconductivity anisotropy remain unchanged. Magnetization measurements confirm Fe-induced paramagnetism. The crystal structure (lattice parameter c) and transport properties evolve smoothly with Fe co-doping, indicating uniform incorporation of Fe into the crystal matrix and demonstrating no direct link between superconductivity suppression and the magnetic nature of impurities. The influence of iron on superconductivity appears to be due to structural transformation.
