Experimental and Theoretical Studies of BaFe2As2 Pnictides with Electron Substitution (Brief Review)

Contrary to the sister superconducting (Ba,K)Fe2As2 materials with partial hole substitution, the electron-doped Ba(Fe,TM)2As2 pnictides (where TM is a transition metal) remain relatively understudied so far. In the review, we summarize current advances in the studies of microstructural, transport, magnetic, calorimetric, optical, band-structure properties of Ba(Fe,TM)2As2 family pnictides, as well as the structure of the superconducting order parameter and its evolution with the change in the electron doping degree.
