Plasma-Chemical Destruction of Nitrofurazone (Furacilin) in Aqueous Solutions under the Influence of a Dielectric Barrier Discharge in Oxygen
摘要
Abstract
The kinetics of decomposition of nitrofurazone (furacilin) in its aqueous solution under the influence of an atmospheric-pressure dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) in oxygen has been studied. The degrees of decomposition, rate constants, and the rates and energy yields of decomposition have been determined at various furacilin concentrations. It has been found that an increase in the initial concentration of furacilin in the solution by a factor of 4 leads to a decrease in its mineralization by a factor of 6.3.
