Abstract <p>The effect of nickel oxide nanoparticles on the structure and properties of nanocomposites based on low-pressure polyethylene containing multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) has been studied. DTA and SEM analysis methods were used. It has been shown that the introduction of nickel oxide nanoparticles into the polyethylene composition containing MWCNT leads to a good degree of dispersion of fillers with the formation of a globular structure. An improvement in the strength and deformation parameters, as well as the thermal- oxidative stability of the obtained nanocomposites, has been revealed, which may be due to the effect of structural stabilization of the polymer matrix.</p>
