The Effect of Duration of Plasma Aquathermolysis of Fuel Oil on Conversion and Product Composition
摘要
The effect has been examined of the duration of plasma aquathermolysis of a fuel oil mixture with water (15 wt %) on the characteristics of resulting products. The study of the product composition and the degree of fuel oil conversion depending on the time of plasma aquathermolysis of the feed mixture makes it possible to optimize energy costs and determine the optimal process conditions. Increasing the processing time from 20 to 140 min can lead to an increase in the fuel oil conversion from 8.1 to 53.9 wt %. A significant decrease in the water content to 0.6 wt % in the mixture is observed after 40 min of aquathermolysis. With an increase in the process time, the acetylene content in the gas products increases significantly from 19.1 to 30.7 mol %. The data obtained indicate the possibility of optimizing plasma aquathermolysis to improve the efficiency of processing heavy oil products.
