Xe–He Plasma as an Active Medium of an Optically Pumped Rare Gas Laser

Abstract
The kinetic processes occurring in the xenon–helium plasma of a pulsed discharge are theoretically investigated. A model of xenon–helium plasma is developed. The calculations of the laser generation with the Xe–He plasma as an active medium are performed. The xenon–helium plasma is compared with the argon–helium and krypton–helium plasmas.
