Abstract <p>The weevil <i>Phyllobius oblongus</i> (Linnaeus, 1758), previously not recorded from Kyrgyzstan, was found in the northeast of the country, where it may have been introduced early in the 21st century. Similar to the native part of its range, the species is a pest of fruit crops in Kyrgyzstan.</p>
