Detonation Products of Composite Explosives Based on Benzotrifuroxan
摘要
Abstract
A microscopic and diffraction study of detonation carbon in explosive compositions of benzotrifuroxan with RDX, octadecanoic acid, and TNT has been performed. It has been found that the detonation products of compositions containing RDX and octadecanoic acid with individual benzotrifuroxan grains ranging in size from a few to tens of micrometers contain carbon forms characteristic of pure benzotrifuroxan. No such forms are detected in a submicrometer mixture of benzotrifuroxan with TNT.
