Abstract <p>Sea beaches are progressively involved in the economic sphere, including its youngest direction, which has received the name “blue” economy. In the article, based on the example of the beaches of the Anapa bay-bar, a number of factors are considered, taking into account which implementation of the concept will be more effective. Among them are information on sand reserves and their composition, data on coastal sediment migration, the paleogeographic and neotectonic environment, the state of the regional sea level and the forecast of its development, and calculations of the optimal morphology of beaches in accordance with the regime of the border water area.</p>
