摘要

This study examines corporate social responsibility’s direct and indirect effects on organizational citizenship behavior through trust in the manager. A survey was applied to a total of 491 employees selected by the convenience sampling method. Structural equation modeling and multigroup analysis data were analyzed using Jamovi. The results indicate that corporate social responsibility positively influences the manifestation of organizational citizenship behavior. Moreover, the effect of corporate social responsibility on organizational citizenship behavior is mediated by trust in the manager. Managers can foster OCB by enhancing their engagement in CSR initiatives and demonstrating trustworthy conduct. By actively participating in CSR initiatives, managers strengthen OCB and create a positive social impact that enhances the organization’s reputation and stakeholder trust. This study contributes to the CSR–OCB literature by revealing the mediating role of trust in managers between corporate CSR practices and employees’ organizational citizenship behaviors within the framework of Social Exchange Theory and Social Learning Theory. Since the findings were obtained by convenience sampling from only two Turkish public hospitals, generalizability to different sectors or cultural contexts may be limited.
