<p>Previous studies mostly focused on investigating students’ attitudes and intentions towards participating in internship programs in the hospitality and tourism industry, ignoring the e-commerce major in the education literature. In particular, few studies have investigated what e-commerce major students’ perceptions are towards joining livestreaming internship programs. This study explores the influence of push motivation, pull motivation, and social influence on students’ attitudes and intentions towards participating in livestreaming internship programs based on the push and pull theory. 251 valid questionnaires were recruited from e-commerce major students and tested for hypotheses proposed using SPSS and PLS-SEM. The results showed that pull motivation and social influence significantly influenced students’ attitudes and intentions, respectively. Attitudes positively influenced students’ intentions to engage in livestreaming internship programs. In addition, there is no significant correlation between push motivation and students’ attitudes and intentions, respectively. Last, theoretical and practical implications as well as limitations were discussed accordingly.</p>
