<p>Generally speaking, hegemonic powers affect the regional security situation through intervention to deal with challenges from other countries, especially rising powers. Since entering the twenty-first century, economic globalization has made the factors of production flow more freely and quickly in the world. Recently, the advent of the “Indo-Pacific” era should be said that shaped by intervention and shaping of U.S. to a large extent. This article will introduce the reason and mechanism for U.S. to intervene and shape “Indo-Pacific” security situation. That is, with the relative decline of U.S.’s power, requiring that countries such as India, Japan and some ASEAN countries can suppress and contain China’s rise and maintain its global hegemony. In the Sino-U.S. strategic competition, Japan, India and some ASEAN countries feel the pressure and chances through international system which formed from interaction and practical exchanges with China and U.S.; then, they act as strategic fulcrum, which also made the “Indo-Pacific” security situation more complicated.</p>

摘要

Generally speaking, hegemonic powers affect the regional security situation through intervention to deal with challenges from other countries, especially rising powers. Since entering the twenty-first century, economic globalization has made the factors of production flow more freely and quickly in the world. Recently, the advent of the “Indo-Pacific” era should be said that shaped by intervention and shaping of U.S. to a large extent. This article will introduce the reason and mechanism for U.S. to intervene and shape “Indo-Pacific” security situation.
