This paper explores the architectural evolution of borders, tracing their development from ancient fortifications to advanced AI-driven security systems. By analyzing key historical case studies—including the Great Wall of China, the Berlin Wall, the Israeli Separation Barrier, and the U.S.-Mexico border wall—it examines how architectural responses to geopolitical challenges have evolved alongside shifts in technology, ideology, and security strategy. The study highlights the increasing integration of digital surveillance, biometric systems, and predictive analytics in contemporary border infrastructure. It argues that the future of border architecture lies in adaptable, modular, and intelligent systems capable of responding to dynamic migration and security conditions.
