<p>Nano-architected mechanical metamaterials and devices integrate structural design with nanoscale effects to realize functions beyond intrinsic materials. Advances in additive manufacturing, lithography, and self-assembly enable coupling of mechanical, thermal, optical, acoustic, and sensing responses within a unified framework. This review highlights strategies for geometry-performance integration and discusses applications in electronics, robotics, and biomedicine. It also outlines future directions for multifunctional, intelligent systems with on-demand design capability.</p>
