Achieving a rapid and continuous learning health system requires socio-technical harmonization of research and operational IT
摘要
This perspective identifies challenges in integrating clinical research and care delivery in a rapid and continuous Learning Health System (LHS), focusing on Information technology (IT) systems and workforce harmonization. Based on our experiences, we analyzed differences in funding mechanisms, governance, regulatory frameworks, priorities, workforce culture, technology architecture, risk tolerance, and data standardization. We highlight significant barriers to the LHS implementation caused by IT misalignment between clinical research and patient care and propose strategies to overcome these challenges.
