The case for collaborative urban adaptation
摘要
Reframing urban adaptation as a shared imperative, rather than a response to individually experienced risk, is essential for fostering sustainable and resilient cities in the face of climate uncertainty. Collaborative adaptation entails the negotiation of differential contributions of diverse actors with distinct exposure to risk. Collaborative adaptation demands investments in trust-building, leveraging shared narratives of belonging, and foregrounding differential responsibilities in fostering equitable and effective adaptation strategies.
