摘要

In the context of the digital economy-a pivotal driver of China’s economic growth-construction enterprises are undergoing profound transformations in their operational and managerial models. Dynamic capability, as a core organizational capacity to respond to market shifts, navigate uncertainties, and achieve sustainable innovation, has become central to their transformation and upgrading. Against the backdrop of digital transformation, this study develops an evaluation index system for the dynamic capability of Chinese construction enterprises and investigates its enhancement pathways through empirical analysis. First, based on the dimensions of technological innovation capability, organizational adaptability, and enterprise competitiveness, a system comprising 25 third-level indicators under six second-level indicators was constructed using literature analysis and expert scoring. Second, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was employed to determine indicator weights, and a cloud model was introduced to define the levels of dynamic capability, addressing the inherent fuzziness and randomness in evaluation. Finally, taking S Construction Group as a case study, this research assesses its dynamic capability by integrating utility functions with the cloud model approach. The results indicate that the dynamic capability of S Construction Group is at a moderate level, and targeted recommendations for improvement are proposed. This study aims to provide a systematic and practical reference for construction enterprises in China to enhance their dynamic capabilities in the era of digital economy.
