hADMSC-YTZP seeding improves peri-implant bone repair through increased expression of BMP-2, ALP, and OPG
摘要
Dental implant failure is frequently attributed to inadequate Peri-Implant Bone Repair, particularly in the case of certain implants. In this context, hADMSC has been shown to enhance the integration of Y-TZP dental implants. Therefore, this study seeks to investigate the efficacy of Y-TZP biomaterials as dental implants, utilizing hADMSC seeding to monitor alterations in the biomarkers BMP-2, ALP, and OPG. The elevated expression of BMP-2, ALP, and OPG observed in Y-TZP dental implants seeded with hADMSC suggests an enhancement in Peri-Implant Bone Repair, which, in turn, helps to prevent the failure of dental implants. Flow cytometry tests were conducted on hADMSC, while immunohistochemical analyses were carried out on Rattus norvegicus albinus wistar strain divided into six groups, one of which included treatment involving hADMSC seeding on Y-TZP. The observed increase in BMP-2, ALP, and OPG serves as an indicator that Y-TZP biomaterial when utilized as a dental implant with hADMSC seeding, has experienced an enhancement in Peri-Implant Bone Repair.
